How It All Started

Photography Club Dimapur, popularly known as PCD was founded in 2013 by a group of photography enthusiasts. . The club is affiliated with FIP - The Federation of Indian Photography. The purpose of this club is to give an organised platform to all the photographers in Dimapur, as we are dedicated to welcoming both photographers and devotees of photography and encourage their participation through workshops, meetings, photo competitions, exhibitions, field trips etc. Photography Club Dimapur is currently 34 members strong and growing.

We strive to elevate photography as a tool for communication, fostering image appreciation, and facilitating cultural exchange. Through our endeavors, we aim to showcase the intricate blend of art and science within photography, recognizing its power to transcend boundaries and enrich societies worldwide.
